Rosemilk pudding – A delectable pink treat

rosemilk puddingI really enjoy rose flavoured goodies and love the colour too. The Shahi falooda with prominent rose flavour is another of my favourite dessert.

Doesn’t this pudding looking so tempting and the taste is as good as much vibrant it looks.These days you get biscuit packed in plastic moulds wrapped in covers. and my mother stores all these stuffs. I have used one such mould for this pudding.(I  don’t remember for which brand these moulds )

Rosemilk pudding was finished in no time at home. I am sure that people who enjoys rose flavour will love this pudding.

Recipe for Rosemilk pudding

Ingredients required
Full fat Milk- 3 cups
Rosemilk essence- 1 teaspoon(Available in most stores)
China grass- 10 grams
Granulated Sugar- 1 cup
Fresh cream- 1 cup

Method of Preparation

Soak china grass in a cup of water for atleast 15 minutes and keep it aside.
Boil milk in a saucepan. Add sugar, rosemilk essence and keep stirring for 10-15 minutes in simmer.
Now add soaked china grass and keep stirring till it is fully dissolved in milk.
After removing the saucepan from stove, add in fresh cream or heavy cream by gently folding.
Now let it cool for some time. Using a strainer, strain the contents into the pudding dish. (I used a mould that I got from a chocolate tin)
Refrigerate till the pudding sets. Rosemilk pudding is ready..

Keynote: time of setting depend upon the mould used.If you want to get it set quickly make use of freezer but keep a close check so that the pudding is properly set and not frozen.
